When ‘Mount Everest’ was searched on Google Maps on Saturday, the map shows the results of Mount Everest. Everest is in Tinggiri County, Shigatse, Tibet, China.
Google Maps has promoted Mount Everest, the world's tallest peak in China.
In 1960 Ad. Boundary Resolution Agreement, China and Nepal had already decided to split Mount Everest – the southern slope. It would be between Nepal and the northern region of Tibet, which China claims as part of its territory.
It was also decided that the China border would be crossed by climbing Mount Everest. However, now Beijing wants to use the world’s tallest peak for its 5G network. It does not even recognize the fact that Mount Everest is in Nepal.Meanwhile, China Global Television Network (CGTN) tweeted on May 2 that the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, is in China.
CGTN’s tweet comes as China sends a team of surveyors to Mount Everest amid continuing bans on climbing due to the corona-virus epidemic. China claims a new measure of the mountain to address the question of whether the catastrophic earthquake of 2015 claims has devastated Nepal.
It should be noted that the widely-accepted height of Mt Everes both sides of Nepal and China, is 8,848 meters.
The mission is likely to inform the peak’s state of Mt Everest, and identified as Qomolangma ,Tibet Autonomous Region.
Telecom giants Huawei and China Mobile have previous proclaimed they had installed 5G projection at the base camp. At the height of approximately 6,500 meters and at the lower base camp, at 5,300 meters and at 5,800 meters to help the investigation.
