Trade of Nepal-China
Nepal-China trade totals 33 billion in 7 months. The main point of Nepal-China trade has been stalled for over a month due to the Corona epidemic. However, the trade between the two countries has increased more than last year till mid-month.
According to the Customs Department’s seven-month trade data released by the Customs Department, trade between Nepal and China increased by Rs 10 billion 58 crores more than last year’s review period.

For the current economic year, seven months between Nepal and China, an amount of Rs. This amount increased by 10 billion 58 crores last year. In the last year’s review period, Nepal and China were trading at an amount of 22 billion to 4 crores.
The current financial year for the period of 1 year, 32 billion and 62 crore is equal to the amount of export of goods and 1 billion and 6 equal to the number of the Department of custom. Last year in the same period whereas 1 billion 20 billion equals 82 crores equivalent Hunda exports were equal to 1 billion and 22 crores.
This year, the trade of Nepal with China deficit for was one crore to 31 billion rupees and 56 crores, which was 1 trillion, 19 billion and 60 crores.
Customs closure is only for 15 days.
According to the Rasuwagadhi Customs Office, a month after the blockade was closed; the inspection of goods stored in the customs yard had passed till January 27.
According to Rasuwagadi Customs Chief Punya Bikram Khadka, there was no effect on trade between the two countries while examining some winter and summer goods and goods used in infrastructure.
He said it would take 45 days for goods to arrive from the port and the outbreak of Corona. It would not have any impact on the business already there. “It has been exactly a month since the trade was blocked, now the impact will be seen,” said Customs Chief Khadka.
During the current financial year
Rasuwagadhi Naka has imported goods of 26 billion. And 23 crores while that has exported goods are of 58 crores and 23 lakhs. Similarly, 4 billion and 88 crores exported. There are equals for good of 13 crores and 76 billion have been exported. Tatopani has exported 4 billion 88 crores. Apart from this, trade between Nepal and China is also done through air and seaports.
