Bill Gates has resigned from Microsoft’s board of directors

Kathmandu, Bill Gates has resigned from Microsoft’s board of directors. Microsoft said he had resigned from the post saying he would be active in social services. According to Microsoft, Bill Gates wants to do more in the world of health, education and climate change.

Now Bill Gates will remain in the company only as a technical consultant. Bill Gates, the world’s richest man, is a co-founder of Microsoft Company. He established Microsoft with Paul Allen in 1975. Until 2000, Bill Gates worked as Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

After his resignation, there are now 12 members on the company’s board. The current CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella said that working with Bill Gates was a matter of pride for him.

Nadella said, ‘The board received guidance from Gates. The company will continue to benefit from Gates’ advice in the coming days.
